RAP 3 focused the bulk of its support on nine core districts in western Nepal, but also worked in a further five pilot districts. The map marks core districts with blue shading and pilot districts with green shading.
The RAP 3 Technical Management Office was located in Ekantakuna, Lalitpur. We also had a Central Coordination Office located within the Shree Mahal office of the Department of Local Infrastructure (DoLI) in Pulchowk, Lalitpur.
As of 31st July 2018, RAP3 has closed its District offices in Jhapa, Morang, Parbat, Sankhuwasabha and Sindhupalchowk and replaced them with a Technical Help Desk in TMO office in Kathmandu. As of 31st December 2018 RAP3 closed its District offices in Achham, Dadeldhura, Dailekh, Doti and Jumla where it was supporting local level road maintenance programmes. By the end of March 2019 RAP3 closed its District offices in the four, new road construction districts of Bajura, Humla, Mugu and Kalikot. The central office in Kathmandu was closed on 30th June 2019.
