Hamri Didis in Dailekh first to sell NCELL re-charge cards

Ncell, a private mobile network operator is collaborating with RAP 3 CONNECT, Unilever Nepal Limited, Bottlers Nepal Limited and Prabhu Bank Limited to sell their products through a network of 474 Hamri Didis.  You can read more about the partnership in our press release.

Hamri Didis in Dailekh are the first to realise this opportunity, and to date have invested NPR 16000 in recharge cards.

Seed producers in Dailekh complete refresher training

CONNECT’s private sector partner Hatemalo Seed Promotion Cooperative (HSPC) successfully delivered 2 days of refresher training for 23 Yuva Vayus on 23rd and 24th December.  The training was delivered by HSPC’s JTA Bhes Bahadur Shahi with support from CONNECT.  Topics covered by the training included seed nursery management, crop rotation, tomato-fertilizer top dressing, pest management control, quality vegetable and seed production, harvesting, timely seed management and marketing.

Farewell to RAP3 CONNECT, Doti staff

As a part of RAP3 exit plan, RAP3 CONNECT, DOTI bid farewell to its outgoing staff including AT- Chandra Kala Rai, Office Assistant - Ganesh K.C., Messenger - Buddi Ram Chaudhary, SCDM - Sher Bahadur Bohara (transferred to Regional Office, Nepalgunj) and Driver Narayan Magar (transferred to cluster office, Achham) on 29th December 2018. Their contribution to the successful implementation of CONNECT project activities are much appreciated by RAP3 Management and their own colleagues in the CONNECT team. All at RAP3 CONNECT would like wish them all the very best in their future endeavours.
